Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 April 2026  ·  Applies to the Cachely Chrome extension and cachely.co.uk

In plain English: Cachely is a free tool that finds your personal discount codes and applies them at checkout. Use it as intended, don't abuse it, and understand it comes without warranty. We're based in the UK so English law applies.

1. Acceptance of terms

By installing or using the Cachely Chrome extension or visiting cachely.co.uk ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Cachely does

Cachely is a browser extension that connects to your Gmail account (with your explicit permission) to find discount codes from the store you're checking out at, and surfaces them automatically when you reach a checkout page. A full description of how data is accessed and processed is set out in our Privacy Policy.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Cachely. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

4. Google account access

Cachely requests read-only access to your Gmail (Promotions and Inbox labels, filtered strictly by the store you are checking out at) via Google's official OAuth 2.0 flow. By granting this access you authorise Cachely to search for emails from relevant stores on your behalf solely for the purpose of finding discount codes. You can revoke this access at any time via your Google Account permissions.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. Cachely is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access to your Google account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Intellectual property

The Cachely name, logo, extension code, and website content are owned by Cachely and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use them beyond what is necessary to use the Service as intended.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party services including Google Gmail API, Anthropic's Claude API, and Sentry. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Cachely is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party service.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cachely disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cachely and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service — including but not limited to loss of savings, loss of data, or loss of goodwill — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed £50 (fifty pounds sterling).

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension and revoking Gmail access in your Google Account settings.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms or that continued access poses a risk to other users or our systems.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be notified via the extension. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
